Logo design and branding, built for your business.
Vistoso Creative is an independent graphic design and web studio in Staunton, Virginia. We design logos and brand guides for small businesses and nonprofits across the Shenandoah Valley: three plans with the prices right on the page, files you own, and a credit toward your website when you're ready for one.
Three plans, prices included
Every mark is hand-built for the business it belongs to. Pick the plan that matches how much of a brand you need today. If you start with the Mini brand guide and outgrow it, what you paid counts toward the Full one.
Logo
One good mark, ready to use.
For a new business that needs a real logo now and can grow into the rest later.
- 2 to 3 concepts to choose from
- One primary logo, refined with you
- Two rounds of revisions
- Full file package: PNG and EPS, in RGB and CMYK
Mini brand guide
A logo, plus the rules that keep it looking right.
For businesses that hand their logo to other people: a printer, a sign shop, a volunteer making a flyer. The guide tells them how to use it.
- Everything in Logo
- Logomark, for small spaces like a social avatar
- Typefaces and a color palette
- One-page usage guide you can email to anyone
Full brand guide
The whole identity, documented.
For organizations that show up in a lot of places and want to look like the same outfit in all of them.
- Everything in the Mini brand guide
- Logotype and logo variants: horizontal, stacked, one-color, and reversed
- Social profile and cover images
- Additional brand assets, scoped with you
- A full brand guide document
The fine print, up front
What every plan includes
The same terms on all three plans, written down before we start. And no templates, ever.
Two rounds of revisions
Two full rounds are built into every plan, which is enough for nearly every project. If you want to keep going after that, extra rounds run $110 an hour, and we'll tell you before the clock starts.
Files that work everywhere
You get PNG and EPS files in both RGB and CMYK. In plain terms: versions for screens, versions for print, and a vector file a sign shop or embroiderer can scale to any size.
Licensing, in writing
Some typefaces and stock images need a license, and that cost is yours, not buried in our fee. We'll name the price in writing before we choose a typeface, and there are good free options when the budget says so.
A credit toward your website
Start a website build with us within six months and 25% of your branding fee comes off the build. Branding first, website second, and the first helps pay for the second.
The Mini counts toward the Full
Start with the Mini brand guide. If you need the Full one within 12 months, the $1,200 you already paid is credited in full.
Simple payment
Half when we start, half when we deliver the files. No retainers and no subscriptions on branding work.
How it works
It starts with a Fit Call: about thirty minutes where you tell us about the business and we tell you plainly which plan fits and what it costs. From there, a logo takes 4 to 7 weeks, in four stages. Brand guides and add-ons take a little longer.
Collect and moodboard (1 to 2 weeks)
We gather what you already have, what you like, what you can't stand, and where the logo has to live: a truck door, a storefront, a letterhead, an Instagram avatar. That becomes a moodboard you sign off on, so we agree on a direction before anything gets designed.
Drafts (1 to 2 weeks)
We come back with 2 to 3 distinct concepts, shown in use, not floating on a white page. You pick the one that feels like your business.
Revise and approve (1 to 2 weeks)
Two rounds to get it right. We adjust the shapes, the type, and the color until the mark holds up large, small, and in one color. Then you approve it.
Export and hand off (1 week)
We build the full file package and, on the guide plans, the brand guide itself. Then we walk you through which file to use where, so you never have to ask us for "the logo, but bigger."
Your logo shows up on everything you'll ever print, post, or build. Get it right once.
When you need more
Add-ons and other graphic design
Quoted by scope, so you only pay for the size of job you actually have. Add them to any plan, now or later.
Brand voice and messaging: $400 to $600
How the brand sounds, to go with how it looks. A short guide to tone, a tagline, and the few sentences you'll reuse everywhere.
Business cards and stationery: $150 to $400
Cards, letterhead, and envelopes, designed and set up print-ready for the shop of your choice.
Social post templates: $300 to $600
A set of templates in your colors and type, so your posts look like you without starting from a blank page every time.
Signage, vehicle, and large format: $250 to $600
Layouts for signs, banners, and vehicle graphics, built to your sign shop's specs.
Already have a logo?
A rebrand of an existing identity runs 65% of the plan price. We keep what still works, and fix what doesn't.
Nonprofits and rush jobs
Registered nonprofits get 20% off every plan. Need it fast? Rush work adds 25 to 50%, depending on the deadline.
Branding questions
Start with a Fit Call.
Thirty minutes, no pitch deck. Tell us about the business and we'll tell you which plan fits, what it costs, and when we could start.
